Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer - Standard Missile to provide advanced technical and analytical support to the Operational Test and Evaluation Force (OPTEVFOR). This role is critical in shaping the future of structured Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) for Surface Warfare systems. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Test and Evaluation Support
Lead the development and execution of structured OT&E processes, including Documentation Review, Operational Test Design, Test Planning, Test Execution, and Test Operations.
Perform in-depth Test Analysis and Reporting to support critical decision-making processes.
Provide Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support, including developing Accreditation Packages and Accreditation Letters.
System-Specific Experience
Apply analysis methodologies to the testing of diverse systems, including:
Standard Missile
Vertical Launch System
Fire Control System
SPY-1D/V Radar
SPY-6 Radar
AEGIS Weapon System
Ballistic Missile Defense System
Compliance and Knowledge Management
Ensure adherence to DoD 5000 series, OPNAVINST 5000.42 series, and SECNAVINST 5000 series instructions.
Communicate operational analysis results effectively to sponsors and decision-makers through detailed reports and presentations.
Leadership and Collaboration
Demonstrate strong leadership skills by effectively guiding teams and managing tasks in alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive analysis and evaluation of system performance.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of four years of T&E experience within the last six years, including IEF development, Test Plan Development, Test Execution, and Test Analysis and Reporting.
Served as a Tactical Action Officer.
Experience supporting Modeling and Simulation (M&S) developmental or operational testing, to include M&S Accreditation Packages and Accreditation Letters.
DAWIA (or equivalent) T&E Level II certification.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.
Proficient in technical writing with the ability to produce clear and concise documents tailored to diverse audiences.
Working knowledge of DoD 5000 series and related instructions, with the ability to ensure compliance across all operational tasks.
Proven ability to lead teams effectively and communicate results to senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with OPTEVFOR or another service Operational Test Agency.
Familiarity with systems and methodologies specific to Navy operations.
Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of aforementioned systems

Security Requirements:
Must possess or be eligible for a TS/TS SCI security clearance.
Specific security requirements will be detailed in a DD254 provided at the task order level.
