Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Universal Banker to join our team. This vital role assists customers with their banking needs, including account opening, maintenance, and teller transactions, and provides guidance on our comprehensive range of products and services. As a Senior Universal Banker, you'll be part of a team dedicated to offering top-tier service to our community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Open, close, and maintain accounts in accordance with bank procedures and State & FDIC regulations, ensuring accurate data entry and completion of all necessary forms.

    Collect and document required client information across multiple systems, assisting with account inquiries, address changes, internet banking, and safety deposit box access and maintenance.

    Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers for retail and commercial customers, maintaining a balanced cash drawer and handling check cashing and balance inquiries.

    Educate customers on Citizens Bank's products and services, including loan and deposit types, and keep updated on all bank products and systems.

    Issue cashier’s checks, money orders, and prepare Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) while identifying counterfeit currency and ensuring accuracy in daily branch capture processing.

    Recognize and report suspicious or fraudulent activity, monitor high-risk customers, and maintain strict confidentiality with all bank and customer information.

    Understand and adhere to all banking regulations, including BSA/AML, CIP procedures, and compliance requirements for IRAs, garnishments, and corporate legal requirements.

    Serve as acting manager when the branch manager is out of the branch, assist in implementing the Relationship Opportunity Communication (ROC) model, and support new employee training as a Teller Sponsor.

    Requirements

    Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience: Minimum of 4 years in personal banking, with demonstrated customer service excellence in financial services.

    Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn job-related software.

    Preferred: Background in branch operations, vault and ATM management, and experience in loan processing or supervision.

    Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Extensive computer use is involved, and applicants must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.

    Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an hour lunch break. Occasional flexibility to work at other branch locations may be required.
