Job Summary
We are seeking an Senior Accounting manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the finance department by analyzing financial information, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments, and other essential accounting tasks. The candidate should have experience in the manufacturing industry and have played a key role in the implementation of an ERP or a MRP at their previous companies. The ideal candidate is organized, highly proficient in Excel and has previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting. The position is a full-time, on-site role.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions in accounting software,
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconcile bank statements,
Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly gross margins,
Assist in month-end closing and prepare financial reports,
Track inventory and monitor costs of goods sold,
Prepare financial reports and statements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is a minimum.
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position along with experience working in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficient in spreadsheet management with extensive experience using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting software systems.
Have actively contributed to the successful implementation of an ERP or MPS (Master Production Schedule) at their previous company.
