    KEY JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Server (Eat Well Host) delivers the EVEN Hotels Simple.Natural.Good food & beverage wellness promise to guests daily by engaging the guests, understanding their nutrition interests and/or requirements and guiding them through the menu and market selections to help meet their needs. This role assists customers with tablet ordering/interaction, serves food to tables during PM food and beverage service, bartends, assists customers with beverage station, maintains grab-and-go market table, services meeting set-up and catering.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Bartender

    Engages guests to understand their wellness needs and offers options to help guests make healthy food choices

    Assists guests with tablet ordering

    Prepares and presents food and beverages (including bartending)

    Be knowledgeable about the specialty cocktails and cooked to order menu

    Use suggestive selling techniques to up-sell where possible to maximize hotel revenue

    Stores food and beverage products, inventory and equipment safely and properly

    Assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required

    Clears and cleans tables promptly and efficiently. Keeps guest areas and food and beverage production areas clean and orderly throughout shift

    Processes all cashiering transactions accurately and in a secure manner

    Communicates and collaborates with team and other departments to provide and receive insight about guest needs, requests, and complaints

    Responds appropriately to guest complaints and implements appropriate service recovery guidelines in order to ensure total guest satisfaction

    Alerts supervisor of any health or safety issues

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: COOK

    Prepares and cooks orders for daily operations. Ensure all foods are cooked properly and hot foods are served hot, cold foods served cold

    Ensures all back of house spaces are properly cleaned and sanitized

    Safely and properly stores food and beverage products, inventory and equipment

    Replenishes supplies based on business forecasts in a timely and efficient manner

    Advises supervisor of low inventory items and assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required

    Works closely with the Eat Well Hosts to collaboratively deliver simple, natural and good options to our guests

    Brings to life Simple.Natural.Good menu options that support our guests’ dietary needs and nutritional choices

    Responds appropriately to guest complaints and implements appropriate service recovery guidelines to ensure total guest satisfaction

    Maintains a clean, neat and well-organized work area, including but not limited to reach-ins, walk-ins and counters

    Reports all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor

    Maintains sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meets or exceeds the state and local Health Board inspection and EVEN Hotels requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School diploma or equivalent, plus 6 months food service

    • Must speak fluent English

    • Flexible work schedule

    At least 6 Months commercial food production work experience

    Must speak and write English fluently

    • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency

    • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays

    • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
