As a server at the newly remodeled Bartolinos on Hampton, located on THE HILL, you are an extension of our family. You will be pivotal in providing guests with an inviting dining experience that echoes our founding philosophy: "Cook good food and give plenty. Basta!" We're looking for someone to join our team immediately, helping us continue to offer traditional Italian dishes, fresh seafood, and choice cuts of meat in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Job Location: Bartolinos On Hampton – THE HILL

Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort customers to their tables.
• Present the menu, answer queries regarding food and beverage, and make recommendations.
• Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
• Issue bills and accept payment.

Type of Employment: Part-time (3-4 dinner shifts per week)

Requirements:

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience.
• Customer-oriented approach and patience.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties.
• Excellent people skills.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma from a vocational school in hospitality or a server’s training certificate is a plus.
• Attentiveness and patience for customers.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Active listening and effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• High school diploma: food safety training is a plus.
