Server $2.13 Hourly + Tips
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing service to each guest courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude. Duties of this position will include serving guests, suggestive selling, delivering food, receiving payment, accurately counting back change, and being responsible for all transactions. A qualified applicant must have excellent communication skills, the willingness to work with others as a team, knowledge of beer and cocktails, able to lift 15-30 pounds, and exert fast-paced mobility between the dining room and kitchen for periods of up to 6 hours in length.
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests
Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
1-3 Years of Server/Bartending Experience
1 Year of Server/Bartending Fine Dining
Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
The primary objective is to ensure guests have a great time and meal, making them want to return again and again.
Welcome and greet guests to make them feel comfortable, letting them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
Make genuine recommendations based on what guests may enjoy.
Answer questions about the food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them in the point-of-sale system, which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly.
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift, as required by your service station assignment.
Maintain clean service areas throughout the shift.
Monitor and observe guests’ dining experience, ensuring satisfaction with food and service, and respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
Prepare the final bill, present the check to the guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable).
Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
Be ready and willing to assist the bus person with clearing and resetting tables.
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
