Job Summary: Common House servers are ambassadors of the club, directing any and all resources to members and guests. They are responsible for the execution of food and beverage service, and accepting payments for restaurant offerings. They also create and maintain a warm and welcoming space by giving personalized service, and keeping the club clean.

Responsibilities
- Member & Guest Experience
- Providing exemplary customer service in line with company standards to all members and guests at the club
- Greets guests within a minute of arrival
- Observe and communicate with guests and assess their needs
- Escort the guests to their destinations (table, bathroom, exit, etc.); always allow a guest to pass first, never cross their path or point to a destination
- Act in a manner that professionally represents the values of the club
- Accurately maintain checks for members and guests
- Accept payment for food and beverage offerings
- Update member and guest information in pos and pms
- Service Area Preparation and Cleanliness
- Proper stocking mise en place to meet forecasted volumes of service, before during, and after service
- Work in a clean and efficient manner that meets health and sanitation requirements
- Ensure cleanliness of service areas, in storage areas, and in guest service areas
- Complete daily sidework
- Knowledge
- Maintain solid knowledge of steps of service and related protocols
- Maintain proficiency in beverage offerings and all unavailable menu (86'd) items
- Keep up to date with food menu descriptions, allergens, and local purveyors
- Participate in scheduled service trainings to further develop knowledge and enhance ability to upsell
- Comply with all ABC laws and regulations and enforce these regulations with service team
- Knowledge of club layout, storage areas, including table and position numbers

- Communicate any daily beverage changes, par levels, or temporarily unavailable (86'd) items with managers and service staff
- Additional Duties:
- Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverage offerings for members and guests consistently and with strict accordance to club recipes and standards
- Attend daily pre-service meetings
- Attend the training sessions and read training notes to improve your knowledge
- Prepare any part of the club for a special event, this may include carrying chairs, tables, decorations, materials, and similar duties
- Never leave the floor without the authorization of your manager
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Be fully conversant with every aspect of the Club's emergency procedures
- Be fully conversant with all the Club's policies as detailed within the employee handbook
- Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and CH requirements

Education & Experience:
- Prior service experience required

- Must have physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items, work indoors, being exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, wet floors and sharp knives is required and withstand environmental factors include noise, dust, cigarette smoke (if applicable) etc. . .

Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of time walking, standing, and on one's feet. Must be able to carry 15 pounds repetitively.
