If you are a “people person” who thrives on interacting with guests, suggesting dishes and drinks, and working in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you! The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of Hawaiian food and culture and is a multi-tasker capable of talking-story to kama‘aina (local) and malihini (visitor) guests alike, while simultaneously ensuring that service to all tables continues to operate smoothly.
This position also requires being cross-trained in other FOH responsibilities such as host, take-out, and expo.
Duties include:
Preparing tables
Greeting and seating customers
Preparing drinks and some food items
Taking orders
Delivering food and drinks to tables
Accepting payments
Suggestive upselling

Qualifications
1 to 3 years waitstaff experience or in similar role; preferred experience in point of sale systems
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong attendance record
Positive attitude
Team player who is able to multitask efficiently
Able to stand and/or walk continuously for long periods of time and in good physical condition
