    Come join our award-winning team as a Server at the Hilton Garden Inn restaurant. The position is 25-30 hours/week working mornings (5:30am-11:30am) and during the dinner rush (4:30pm-10:30pm, working every other weekend). Part-time is also available for morning or evening shifts. The pay is hourly plus tips. Must be 21+. Come join our team!

    Summary of Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

    Prepare the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.

    Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu changes, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc.

    Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.

    Prepare mixed drinks (as appropriate) for service to customer’s table.

    Open and pour wine at the tableside.

    Accept payments, issues receipts, and returns change.

    Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.

    Assist with special events as needed.

    Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.

    Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Prefer high school diploma or equivalent

    Some familiarity with basic cooking skills

    Previous serving experience preferred

    Excellent oral communication skills

    Positive interpersonal skills

    Current food handlers permit
