JOB PURPOSE:
Deliver the Polly’s Family Brand “Fresh, Friendly, Above & Beyond Expectations by adding Extraordinary Value, FIRST to our TEAM, and then to our Guests Daily,” and Commit to “Being the BEST.”
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference.
Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
“Protects the Brand” by demonstrating menu expertise, identify menu items in Aloha Point of Sale System, and able to identify menu items and ingredients for the guest.
Serves high quality food and checks all orders to ensure they are complete, prepared as ordered, portioned correctly and attractive in appearance.
Monitors and oversees food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the incidence of risk factors known to cause food borne illness.
Consistently exceed Polly’s standards and maintain mystery shopper scores of 90 and above.
Follow proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the Cash Handling Policy.
Must D.W.I.T. (Do Whatever It Takes) to enhance the guest experience, Make The Connection and always maintain a high Blowtorch level.
Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Promote Polly’s culture, standards, and Core Values.
Must always be Accountable and/or responsible for your duties.
Restocks and clean service area
Performs side work during shift downtime including but not limited to rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders, cleaning work areas, etc.
Reports to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform and practices good personal hygiene.
Able to work efficiently and respectfully with fellow Team Members and Managers.
Able to work flexible schedule; days, nights, weekends and holidays.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Outstanding customer relation skills and ability to ensure a guest priority culture
Effective communication, good organization skills
Accuracy and honesty of handling revenues and aspects of the revenue control system
One (1) to two (2) years with Polly’s experience and/or training preferred
Ability to act on and solve minor problems as they arise
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Valid Food Handlers Card (if required by county)
