SERVICE DELIVERY DRIVER
DEPARTMENT: Service
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. This would consist of both pick-up and delivery from the customer’s location. The person in this position may provide instructions on the basic operating procedures of the equipment being delivered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Transport equipment to/from customers.
· May support Sales department with equipment delivery as needed.
· Maintain records of pick-up and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
· Maintain all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy.
· Maintain accurate records of all time and distances traveled in performing assigned duties.
· Keep work truck clean and maintain all upkeep, such as oil changes.
· May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required.
· Other duties and projects as may be assigned or re-assigned from time to time.

Education and/or Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· 1 or more years of experience pulling, connecting, disconnecting a trailer
· Class D License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet connections.
· Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.
· Ability to deal with employees and public in a courteous, tactful, and patient manner.
· Ability to take initiative and organize responsibilities and job duties to obtain maximum effectiveness.
· Ability to anticipate problems, provide possible solutions and take corrective action.
· Ability to understand and carry out upper management requests.

· The working environment while performing the duties of this job will require the employee to frequently work near moving mechanical parts and occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (weather), extreme heat (weather), and vibrations.
