Position: Service Sales Manager - Residential Services
Location- San Diego - 70% in office / 30% in the field
Salary- $95,000 + uncapped commissions, Year one OTE $250,000+, full benefits, 401K, profit sharing, great PTO, paid holidays, and other cool perks
Our client is one of the most reputable residential electrical service contractors in San Diego, providing 5 star service to San Diego county for almost 20 years. Due to massive growth they need a Field Service Manager who can sell, mentor, and motivate our team of 6 service technicians to deliver the best customer service experience to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for technicians reaching their revenue and efficiency goals on a weekly and monthly basis
- Responsible for ensuring that technicians are achieving their KPI’s including close rate, average ticket and labor efficiency
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor which encourages teamwork, continuous improvement,
- excellent workmanship and customer service and a high level of employee satisfaction
- Ongoing coaching for performance with specific positive and constructive feedback
- Recruiting, hiring, on boarding and training of technicians, installers, apprentices, warehouse staff and any other field positions
- Manage the safety of all employees, customers and job sites; hold weekly safety meetings
- Oversee the inventory management of the company: stay within material budgets and make parts and
- materials runs by field staff as infrequent and seamless as possible
- Perform frequent, random spot checks on company vehicles and the warehouse
- Verify truck inventory is being noted when used for a job and restocked by the Warehouse Administrator daily
Requirements:
- 5+ years of overall relevant sales/service management experience in residential in-home services is a plus. This includes, restoration, general construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Windows, Sidings, landscaping.
- Experience leading a service team in the Auto industry or Software sales experience is a huge plus as well.
- 4+ years of sales/service management experience. We are looking for a coach with a proven track record of driving revenue through his or her team.
- Experience training, mentoring, and coaching technicians how to sell and hold them accountable to weekly, monthly, quarterly goals.
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.
