    Continental Drilling & Service, a Synergen company, was established in 1953 with hard work, grit, and unrelenting drive to do right by its customers. In the 70+ years since, we have cemented our legacy as the gold standard in water well drilling, irrigation, and pump services across the Gulf South. Continental Drilling employees three drilling crews and four pump service crews who operate between four drilling rigs, a machine shop, and regular maintenance facilities. These crews are experts in their respective fields, tested by every kind of weather and terrain imaginable, and they are unbeaten.

    We are actively seeking an Service Technician at Continental Drilling & Service, a Synergen company, located in Shreveport, Louisiana that would be responsible for assisting drilling and service crew members with day to day operations on job sites as well as the maintenance facility.

    A qualified applicant must posses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Basic understanding of water well drilling preferred but not required

    Great organizational skills

    Mechanical troubleshooting skills

    Ability to follow instruction and follow through on tasks

    Strong initiative

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    Use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls

    Stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

    Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

    Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high

    Work environment includes working outdoors in elements/weather
