    Region 6 Security is excited to add a Service Technician to our growing team. We are looking for a very detail oriented tech who has the ability to work independently as well as work with our team and customers.

    As a Service Technician, you'll be learning the ins and outs of security innovations in the commercial and multi-family projects throughout the greater Seattle area. The industry is growing, and the innovation of security is fast paced. On a daily basis, you'll encounter customers that come from a variety of different technology backgrounds whose systems have their own unique challenges. Problem solving, teamwork, time management, positive attitude and effective communication are highly emphasized.

    $40-50/hour depending on experience level

    Position Requirements:

    Customer-facing role with excellent and timely communication skills both within the company and with clients

    Setup, calibration, testing and demonstration of security systems

    Provide training and technical support for end-users to operate and maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer

    Diagnose errors or technical problems and provide solutions

    Perform ongoing maintenance on parts and equipment and Ability to escalate repair issues as needed

    Accurately completes field service reports

    Performs routine and emergency service calls. Troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.

    Safely operate a variety of equipment, tools, and machines

    Assist with warehouse and inventory maintenance as needed with our Warehouse Manager

    Operate a company vehicle to obtain parts and drive to various locations to perform work.

    Perform related duties as assigned. Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

    Initial Qualifications:

    Education and Experience:

    · High School or equivalent certification

    · Washington State Driver’s License and proven good driving record

    · Minimum three (3) years’ previous relevant work experience.

    · 06 Journeyman License

    · Experience with access control, A/V, surveillance systems and other low-voltage systems, Brivo, Eagle Eye

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Working Conditions:

    · Strong customer-facing skills, especially regarding verbal and written communications

    · Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    · Applicable laws, codes, rules, and regulations.

    · Follow Appropriate safety precautions and procedures.

    · Record-keeping techniques and detail-oriented

    · Knowledge of electrical systems preferred

    · Maintain tools and equipment in clean working condition.

    · Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
