    Job Overview

    The Service Technician/Technical Support role at Shamrock Sales, Inc. is vital to our business. Offering excellent customer service to wholesalers, contractors, and our other clientele, this role requires superior technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and educate on all products that we represent. These products include Lochinvar boilers and water heaters, Taco pumps and controls, tekmar controls, REHAU radiant heating systems, and many others. You will also assist our customers in other general inquiries, e.g. finding part numbers, sizing equipment, providing price and availability, and quoting small projects. Shamrock Sales is a leading manufacturers’ representative of hydronic heating and plumbing products based in Denver, Colorado.     Requirements and Skills

    · Basic understanding of hydronic and snowmelt systems and controls, including boilers and all related components

    · 3-5 years of experience in technical hydronic heating, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing-related products

    · Customer service mentality, to include the critical qualities of patience and diplomacy at all times

    · Perseverance and responsiveness with manufacturers and customers

    · Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, to include proper spelling and grammar

    · Understanding of troubleshooting sequence and processes

    · Understanding of basic electric circuitry

    Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

    · Fielding customer inquiries for technical support on our products

    · Fielding customer inquiries for price, availability, and other general questions on our products

    · Generating quotations for small projects

    Hours, Pay and Benefits

    · Full-Time, 40 hours per week

    · In office full time to begin, with possibility of a hybrid schedule (part office, part home) after 120 days

    · 70-85k per year salary range, with starting salary to be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience*
