The Position:
The Manager, Technology GRC is a strategic role for ServiceNow Digital Technology organization and will play an important role in our path to $10 Billion. This is an exceptional opportunity to help build out the Tech GRC function from the ground up.
This extraordinary individual should have a working knowledge of all aspects of risk and compliance management lifecycles ranging from global regulatory requirements to risk assessments, internal controls, and issues management as well as governance and reporting to department and function leaders. The primary responsibility for this person will be to help assist with Technology Risk and Control Issue Management process
Key responsibilities include:
Develop tech risk issues management processes to ensure consistent engagement with Technology, ensuring accurate remediation planning, milestones, tracking, and reporting, while changing the mindset to treating risk management and remediation as a discipline.
Monitor compliance with controls, self-identified risks, and the issue management process, assigning actions to teams for remediation oversight.
Review the identified issues, ensure the planned actions have been delivered, and provide strategic remediation paths for key issues if required.
Partner across the Tech Controls team to develop analytics that ensures controls are measurable and integrated into the remediation process.
Communicate across the business and up through executive management and related forums, on tech risk issue processes, exposure, and remediation status, inclusive of how this function is maturing as a discipline within the Digital Technology Organization
Communicate across the business and to senior management and related forums, on tech risk issue processes, exposure, and remediation status, and open action items.
Build relationships with key stakeholders across the three lines of defense to drive partnership in the timely and accurate achievement of risk remediation and related deliverables.
Identify root cause and opportunities for improvement of internal controls and acquire consensus on remediation plans with key business partners (IT Operations, Product, Information Security, and SOX teams).
Communicate our compliance framework to all relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Qualifications
At least a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Risk Management or a related field.
Combined 8+ years of experience in Technology risk and compliance roles
Adeptness and proficiency at leveraging a wide range of technology tools and solutions to assess data, automate processes, and support a variety of fast-growing and changing business needs
Excellent internal/external stakeholder management skills
Ability to multi-task and work in agile, changing and fast-growing environments
Excellent understanding of how IT runs and its operational processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, teamwork skills, and an engaging personality; a proven ability to effectively interface with a diverse range of roles at all levels
