    SUMMARY

    As a ServiceNow Engineer on the ITSM team, you will work on a wide variety of projects. You will collaborate with a diverse set of partners across the enterprise, including shared services teams like IT, HR, Legal, Compliance, and Information Security, as well as lines of business within ASPIRION’s portfolio. You will bring to bear your knowledge of ServiceNow, your grasp of standard methodologies for that platform, as well as your established chops as a developer to help craft sophisticated, robust, and scalable solutions against requirements provided by project and product managers.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES

    • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
    • Debug existing software and correct defects
    • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
    • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
    • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
    • Applies knowledge of ITOM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM and/or Service Portal.
    • Write or review software and system documentation
    • Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries
    • Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
    • Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
    • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
    • Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
    • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met
    • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform features and functionalities, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and Reporting.
    • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow development technologies, such as JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
    • Experience in developing ServiceNow applications and modules using ServiceNow Studio.
    • Familiarity with web services, RESTful APIs, and integration technologies for ServiceNow integration with external systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimal 5 years of work experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization is required.
    • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and ITIL framework is required.
    • Experience in agile development methodologies and working with cross-functional teams is required.
    • ServiceNow certifications, such as CIS – IT Service Management (CIS – ITSM) & CIS – Human Resources (CIS – HR), are highly preferred.
    • ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred.
    • ServiceNow certifications, Certified System Administrator (CSA) & Certified Application Developer (CAD) are preferred.

    The US base pay range for this position starts at $90,000 annually. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered.
