    Russian Speaking Role Player

    Part-time, On Call

    Location: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ

    Position Summary: Seventh Dimension is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Russian Language Speaking Role Players who can use a Russian dialect effectively. These individuals will play a crucial role in the success of the Expeditionary Operations School (EOS) at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. They will engage in professional role-playing to assist in U.S. Army field training exercises, making the training as realistic as possible in preparation for real-world situations that the unit may face during contingency operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to training events, improve language proficiency, and earn additional income.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Act as a fluent Russian Language Speaker to portray various roles, including civilians, government officials, religious leaders, tribal elders, interpreters, etc., from partner nations.
    • Participate in weapons handling and operation training, including rifles, pistols, blanks, and dye-marking cartridges.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of all weapons according to USAF EOS armory standards, returning them after duty completion.
    • Engage in military or civilian scenarios using actual military weapons and equipment, embodying the roles of foreigners, merchants, rioters, protestors, laborers, injured personnel, displaced individuals, refugees, dignitaries, etc.
    • Perform urban/mounted operations training, possibly involving blank-firing weapons or dye-marking cartridges (SIM-FX, Ultimate Training Munition/UTM, or paintball).
    • Embrace diversity, as this role is open to all genders.

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

    • Proficient in Russian language, both speaking and understanding.
    • Previous experience with military rifles and firearms maintenance.
    • Eligible to possess firearms under U.S. law (Title 18 U.S.C. 922), including submission of required forms.
    • Clear background check with no red flags related to handling weapons, ammunition, or explosives, or posing a risk to U.S. Military personnel.
    • Previous U.S. Military service or expertise in Russian language and culture is a plus but not mandatory.
    • Authorized to work in the United States.

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Reach above shoulder height, use your fingers, and walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
    • Stand for long durations (up to 8 hours) and occasionally run (up to 1 hour).
    • Be comfortable crawling and kneeling (each for up to 30 minutes) and bending repeatedly (up to 1 hour).
    • Good eyesight and visual perception are necessary.
    • Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, or dampness.
    • While on the job, you will regularly talk and listen, use your hands and fingers to handle objects and tools, and occasionally stand, walk, sit, and reach with your hands and arms. You may also need to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • This role may require close and distance vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the workplace is typically moderate.
