  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for dynamic teachers to teach the following categories. Sewing, Embroidery, Long Arm quilting, and Sergers.

    You must have sewing experience to be considered for the position. Knowledge of the following brand or brands is a plus. Babylock, Bernina, Brother, Elna, Grace, Handi Qullter, Janome, Juki, Pfaff, Singer, Viking. This position will be teaching classes at our San Marcos retail store classroom. We have state-of-the-art Audio and Video systems to aid in your instruction.

    This position is Part-time and our classrooms are available 6 days per week.

    Summary

    Teach customers how to use various machines and also teach classes on projects and techniques.

    Education and/or Experience

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
