    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled SharePoint Software Developer to design, develop, modify and maintain SharePoint Server portals using .NET and modern graphic design technologies. This role involves managing site content enhancing portal capabilities and ensuring the daily maintenance of testing and MOSS portals. Our Sharepoint Software Developer will participate in the testing process including test reviews, analysis, witnessing and certification of software while adhering to US digital standards, concepts and best practices. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders demonstrating creativity, problem solving skills and ability to manage projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.

    This role requires strong programming and documentation skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high quality, error free work. The candidate will be highly organized and effective communicator and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Additionally, leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment are essentially for success in this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
    • Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2016 and SharePoint Online.
    • Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
    • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
    • Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes.
    • Maintains confidentiality and protect operational data by adhering to security and information protection policies.
    • Develop clear, concise functional and design specifications as well as user-friendly end user documentation.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years in Sharepoint Application development role required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, MIS or Computer Engineering or related degree desired.
    • Functional/Technical experience and able to work with business users if required.
    • Senior level experience in software development lifecycle is required.
    • Programming using .NET 4.5, C#, ASP.NET, PL/SQL, XML, JAVA Script, REST API and PowerShell Script required.
    • Ability to utilize SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and Power Automate to build workflows required.
    • Experience in SharePoint Development in analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications required.
    • Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services required.
    • SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online Designing and Developing Applications certification is a plus but not required
    • Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyze data is desired
    • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services and Power BI development is a plus

    The expected salary for this position is $85,499.00 - $142,459.00.
