Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in both SharePoint development and administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing SharePoint sites, managing user requests, and developing custom solutions. The position is weighted 75% towards SharePoint development and 25% towards administration.

Type: Part-time role (hours can vary from 0 to 20 hours a week)

Location: 100% remote (preferably work in E.S.T.)

Key Responsibilities:

SharePoint Development (75%)

Design, develop, and deploy SharePoint solutions using SharePoint 2013, 2019, and SharePoint Online.

Perform customizations and enhancements using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other development tools.

Develop and maintain web parts, workflows, and content updates.

Create and manage custom code to implement behind-the-scenes functionalities.

Integrate SharePoint solutions with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online.

SharePoint Administration (25%)

Maintain and manage on-premises SharePoint farms and cloud-based SharePoint environments.

Handle user requests related to content updates, site provisioning, calendar management, and other site configurations.

Ensure the security and compliance of SharePoint environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint infrastructure and services.

Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:

Extensive experience working with SharePoint 2013, 2019, and SharePoint Online.

Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other development tools.

Strong skills in developing web parts, workflows, and performing content updates.

Experience with on-premises and cloud-based SharePoint farms.

Knowledge of integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Teams.

Ability to handle and prioritize user requests efficiently.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications:

Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
