Job Description

Base pay rate of $20.65. Potential hourly premiums include Attendance Premium of $0.25 per hour and Longevity Premium of $0.25 per hour after one year of service.

Essential Job Functions

• Sharpen knives, blades, scissors, and other production utensils utilizing various machines.
• Adjust and maintain grinder, edge buffer and other knife machines.
• Utilize the NOVA program to maintain knife and utensils inventory, ensure blade accountability, and run reports.
• Count and maintain physical knife, scissors and utensil inventory – ordering additional inventory as needed.
• Organize and maintain the Knife Room.
• Provide occasional back-up coverage for supply room.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision.

Qualifications

• Must report regularly and on time to work as well as work all required hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.

• Must be able to work safely and set an example of good working safe habits.

• Must have strong attention to detail.

• Must be able to maintain consistent and quality work with limited supervision.

• Repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling for prolonged periods.

• Ability to stand on concrete floor or metal stand for prolonged periods.

• Must be able to submit and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
