Virtual Health Coach
What we’re looking for
Are you passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals? We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Health Coach to join our team and empower individuals on their journey to better health. As a Virtual Health Coach, you will play a crucial role in conducting 1-on-1 coaching appointments with clients, providing personalized guidance on weight loss techniques, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle habits. Your primary focus will be on motivating clients, holding them accountable, and fostering positive behavioral changes for long-term well-being.
Responsibilities
- 1-on-1 Coaching: Conduct personalized coaching sessions.
- Facilitate coaching through SMS texting outside of your coaching sessions
- Work to schedule new clients who have signed up for coaching but have yet to schedule their first appointment.
- Work to get inactive coaching clients to accept coaching and participate in the program.
- Education: Inform clients on weight loss techniques, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle habits.
- Motivation and Accountability: Inspire and keep clients accountable for their health goals.
Requirements
- Education: A background in nutrition, exercise, or wellness education is required.
- Health Coach Certification: A Health Coach Certification is required.
- Technical Requirements: Access to a personal computer or laptop for remote work.
- Remote Work: Comfortable working in a remote environment with effective time management skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse personalities.
- Start Up Mindset: We're a fast growing company and constantly changing and adapting. We need team members that embrace change and help push things forward.
Optimal candidate
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred in nutrition, exercise, health, or wellness. Or a nutrition, exercise or health coaching certification.
- Experience: 1+ year of coaching experience is highly desirable.
- Attributes: Attention to detail, high standards, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for promoting well-being.
