Gardner Watson Decking, Inc., full service metal decking installation company headquartered in Oldsmar, FL, with projects primarily in the eastern half of the United States is looking to hire Sheet Metal Deck Installer / Ironworker.

SUMMARY:

· Looking for experienced Metal Deck Installer / Ironworker to provide manual labor for the safe installation of sheet metal deck and steel stud welding. Pulling deck from a bundle, dragging, and placing deck sheets.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

· MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE and be insurable!!!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Safely lay and attach sheet metal deck on steel framing.

. Maintain company equipment.

. Work productively as a team with crewmembers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

. Stand, walk, lift, reach w/hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, talk, hear.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Work on construction sites

· Work at heights greater than 40′

· Outdoor weather conditions (Heat and Cold)

· Work with hand, power, pneumatic and powder actuated tools

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. · Be able to lift at least 75lbs

· Have working knowledge of basic hand tools

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

· 10-Hour Construction OSHA Certificate

· 30-Hour Construction OSHA Certificate

· CPR Certificate

· First Aid Certificate

· Welding Certificate

· Aerial Lift Certificate

TRAVEL, WORK HOURS:

1. Travel: It is 100% required for this position. Jobsite locations may be located in multiple states and are subject to change.

2. Work Hours: Hours are based on jobsite requirements.
