Role Overview
This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composites, and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Support structural repair and modification projects
- Interpret and read aircraft blueprints/modification drawings
- Accept ownership of assigned structural projects
- Follow all policies and procedures including the Quality Control Manual for Elliott Aviation.
- Ensure safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft during all structural repair and modification phases
- Record and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentation
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
- High school graduate or equivalency degree required
- Ability to obtain designation as an Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue Stamp)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145
- 8+ years Aircraft maintenance experience with emphasis on Structural repair and Modifications
Licenses:
- Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferred
- FAA Inspection Authorization preferred
