Position Summary:
Be part of a team that creates a warm, welcoming place for parents and children in need. As a Shelter Counselor, you'll play a key role in helping families feel safe and supported as they work towards finding permanent housing.
Position Responsibilities:
Help create a cozy, home-like environment where everyone feels cared for.
Support families by assisting with everyday tasks, teaching life skills, and offering guidance.
Write simple notes to track the progress of each family.
Attend team meetings to share ideas and learn from others.
Make sure the shelter's rules are followed to keep everyone safe and on track.

Qualifications:
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
Experience working with people living on a low income, or who are affected by mental health issues and/or addiction.
Proficiency across the following skills: verbal and written communication, collaboration, organization, and use of computer and technology.
