Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive Floor Supervisor/Shift Leader to manage daily operations during designated shifts at our establishment. This role is crucial for leading staff, ensuring operational efficiency, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining quality control across all facets of the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee smooth operations during shifts, coordinating front and back of house seamlessly. Manage shift schedules, inventory, and prepare daily sales reports.
Staff Supervision: Direct activities of all staff members, manage performance, handle staffing levels to ensure customer satisfaction, and train new crew members according to Chick-In Waffle’s standards and protocols.
Customer Service: Address and resolve customer service issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining high service standards.
Compliance and Safety: Enforce adherence to sanitation, health, and safety regulations, conducting regular compliance checks.
Financial Oversight: Manage cash operations, use of Point of Sale (POS) systems, and report on shift activities, highlighting any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong team motivation, management skills, and the ability to coach others effectively.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, capable of resolving issues efficiently.
Knowledge of health and safety practices and food service regulations.
Flexible availability, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Proficiency in cash handling and using POS systems.
Physical stamina for a full shift of standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights.
Effective problem-solving skills, able to make quick decisions and adapt to changing situations.
