    YOUR ROLE AS A TAZIKI'S SHIFT LEADER:

    Serving guests and making meaningful connections with them

    Opening & closing tasks

    Being responsible for the restaurant and the team when a manager isn't on duty

    Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties

    Mastering menu and product knowledge

    Supporting or working stations when needed (including kitchen)

    Prepping food and doing side work

    Following proper cash handling and payment procedures

    Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift

    Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures

    Proper food handling and storage of food products

    Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

    THE IDEAL TEAM MEMBER:

    Must be 21 years of age

    Prior food service experience preferred

    Strong leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team members

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities

    Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures

    Energetic, ready to learn, loves fresh food

    Able to work a flexible schedule

    Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy

    ALL EMPLOYEES MUST:

    Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)

    Obtain a Food Manager's certification shortly after beginning employment

    YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS:

    A typical workday at Taziki's may look like:

    Morning shift: 7am - 4pm

    Evening shift: 4pm - 10pm

    Weekends: when applicable

    Holidays: when applicable (CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas)

    Hours will vary by store.

    You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.
