Shift Supervisor A Supervisor is responsible for hands on daily activities of the restaurant during the portion of their shift. In the absence of the Manager/Assistant Manager, you will direct the team while maintaining food safety & sanitation, product quality and guest service standards. You may be expected to participate in the training of crew members as needed. You will be required to be involved in controlling expenses through the execution of company systems and procedures in-place as well as ensuring the crew follows those same systems and procedures. Most Supervisors are expected to be available to work for opening and/or closing shifts. In addition to performing all duties of a Crew Member, you are expected to assign duties and manage other team members during peak periods.
Supervisors may have a somewhat limited availability relative to what is expected from a Manager/Assistant. Many Shift Supervisors with strong skillset become Assistant Managers or Restaurant Managers.
Qualifications:
Good personal grooming & hygiene.
Good Communication & hands on Skills including multi-tasking and basic management & leadership.
Strong customer service & problem-solving skills
Stand up for 8 hours
Able to lift up-to 45 pounds
