    Our hotel is looking for a driven food and beverage personnel with strong communication and customer service abilities. You'll be in charge of taking part in setting up banquet events, assisting where needed in breakfast and evening restaurant operations, and most importantly, serving guests, while working alongside your hotel employees. As a shift lead, you'll also be eligible for tips and hotel bonuses. Our ideal applicant possesses strong organizational and team management skills, as well as prior hospitality expertise. Responsibilities: • Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner • Schedule shifts, train and oversee hotel employees to boost productivity levels and ensure compliance • Manage, direct, and ensure high guest satisfaction in the delivery of all services • Maintain and ensure that each site is well stocked, order supplies, and arrange the product delivery • Delegate activities to employees and make sure they are executed efficiently and successfully • Ensure high guest satisfaction in all service areas by directing staff and assisting guests to ensure everyone has a great experience • Supervise food in the area and ensure buffet items are full, hot, and fresh • Implement cleaning and other projects if needed/as needed in the breakfast or atrium area • Communicate with the Food & Beverage director on areas of opportunity with the team • Assist in shift duties where needed • Review completed items with each hotel team member before they depart the breakfast or restaurant area • Assist in inventory management if needed • Assist in other duties as the business needs Qualifications: • Previous experience of 2 or more years managing staff is required • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred • Prior hospitality experience is required, as well as the ability to perform different hotel employee roles • Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired • Previous Supervisory or Shift/Crew lead experience in the food industry Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
