Sunstone is looking to add to Shipping Team- This position works in a team environment to do what it takes to properly package and ship large and small packages. Exceptional and professional customer service to both internal and external customers is required at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prints packing slips and shipping paperwork as needed
• Identifies new orders and pulls items from stock
• Prepares items for shipment, packaging, sorting
• Cleans area and dumps trash daily
• Mathematical skills needed
• Computer/office equipment skills needed
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Weighs and processes shipments via UPS and FedEx.
• Produces all export paperwork required for each shipment. (SED, Cert. of Origin, Performa invoice) and modifies per country requirements
• Provides excellent communication verbally and in writing to all internal and external customers
• Orders and/or requests all packaging related materials
• Valid Driver’s license -Drives and delivers packages to customers and the airport in emergency situations (reliable vehicle needed)
• Willing to work Saturdays/overtime as needed

Education and/or Experience:- Must have a High School diploma or GED Minimum; and six months to one year related experience and/or training.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS - Strong work ethic and knowledge of shipping practices preferred. Recent experience with UPS, FedEx helpful - Valid Driver License required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS - The employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; use of hands/fingers to package. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
