Job Description
* Contact designated carriers daily to confirm scheduled pickup times.
* Communicate shipment details (order numbers, load specifications, delivery windows) clearly to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.
* Record all inbound and outbound shipment details including driver name, carrier, time in/out, and load information.
* Ensure log entries are accurate and up to date for audit and tracking purposes.
* Run and review daily and weekly reports for open Sia shipments.
* Identify and escalate any delays, discrepancies, or incomplete shipments to the appropriate parties.
* Continuously update the shipping status monitor with current truck locations, ETAs, and dispatch times.
* Ensure all trucks are dispatched according to the outbound schedule to meet customer delivery expectations.
* Prepare and distribute required paperwork for production lines, including production orders, quality alerts, and workplace instructions.
* Assist with supplier quality complaint investigations by documenting issues (quantity affected, type of damage, supplier info, and where defect was found).
* Maintain a clean and safe shipping and staging area by executing a structured daily housekeeping plan.
* Promote workplace organization and compliance with 5S or Lean practices.
* Use MS Axapta (or similar ERP) to enter, track, and process outbound shipments.
* Monitor and document daily shipping activity, including labor hours and shipment accuracy, specifically for Sia operations.
* Regular and punctual attendance is a critical requirement of this position to maintain shipping operations and meet customer deadlines.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
High Diploma or GED required or experience commensurate in experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems such as SAP, MS Axapta, JDA, or Blue Yonder.
Entry-level understanding of production planning, materials management, and MRP principles.
Familiarity with ISO standards, Bosch Production System (BPS), Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen methodologies.
Proven ability to solve logistical and operational problems with accuracy and urgency.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and shipment handling.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $21.37 - $25.44 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
