Exciting opportunity to join the team at the Hilton Charlotte University Place as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. Responsibilities: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing packages/deliveries for the hotel. Duties will include but are not limited to: • Tracking Inventory • Keeping Accurate Records • Packaging/Weighing Items • Printing Labels/Postage • Distributing Products to Departments • Making Shipping Arrangements • Daily Communication with Vendors/Department Heads • Tracking Packages for Guests and Deliveries for Conventions/Events • Ensure Security of All Packages/Deliveries • Verifying/Stocking Received Food Orders • Assisting with Keeping the Loading Dock Clear/Clean (Pallet Removal, etc.) • Filling Internal Liquor Requisitions Qualifications: • Prior shipping and receiving experience is highly preferred • Hospitality experience ideal but not required • Strong attention to details Compensation: $20 per hour
