  • Responsibilities

    This position will float between our stock room (receiving) and the QAS (quality assurance and shipping) departments, which includes paint.

    **1st shift position with a schedule of 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday. Additional overtime is optional in most situations. Saturdays are rarely worked.

    Responsibilities: Store Keeper / Selector / Job Kits - Manufacturing

    • Receiving in product.
    • Locate, identify, count, weigh and move stock.
    • Pulling parts from the Bill of Materials, and assemble stock to make up orders for shipment, repairs, or production as directed.
    • Responsible for proper storage, material handling and record control in the storage area. Assign stock to bins, drawers, shelves and floor space following prescribed storage program.
    • Maintain records and report stock usage.
    • Stock shelves using FIFO rotation.

    Responsibilities: QAS (Quality Assurance and Shipping)

    • Detail interior and exterior of products in preparation for shipping.
    • Inspects finished products for conformance to prints, final finish quality, cleanliness, and presence of required accessory items to ensure that all orders are completed properly.
    • Place labels/logos on product.
    • Design and build skids/crates.
    • Package and band finished products and parts for shipment.
    • Load finished products onto trucks for shipment to purchaser.
    • Prepare shipping documents.
    • Enter package data for UPS/FedEx shipments.
    • Receive incoming material and parts shipments (verify incoming shipments, inspect for contents and damage, and log received items into computer).

    Responsibilities: Paint

    1. Set up and maintain spray equipment.
    2. Evaluate and inspect surfaces and prepare areas using techniques such as cleaning, masking, using tools to disassemble product, sanding, grinding, etc.
    3. Paint equipment using high volume/low pressure (HVLP) sprayer.

    • Must have a customer service mindset, patience, and great communication skills
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Ability to transition between tasks effectively.
    • Solid organization skills.
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software to generate shipping paperwork, log items received, create mailing labels, etc.
    • Ability to use basic math and measuring skills.
    • Experience using basic hand and power tools.
    • One year or more of related experience in shipping and receiving a plus.
    • Previous experience reading bill of materials a plus.
