    Job Description

    ** THE ROLE**

    THE ROLE

    • RECEIVE SHIPMENTS: Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Check for damage or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
    • PREPARE SHIPMENTS: Pack and label products according to company standards and shipping requirements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipments.
    • INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Update inventory records and systems with received and shipped goods. Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
    • DOCUMENTATION: Complete shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
    • WAREHOUSE ORGANIZATION: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Properly store products and manage space within the warehouse.
    • EQUIPMENT OPERATION: Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks,
    • and clamp trucks to move products safely.
    • COMMUNICATION: Coordinate with other departments to resolve shipping and receiving issues. Communicate effectively and team members and supervisors.

    ** Knowledge, Skill & Abilities**

    • KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or equivalent. Consistent work history. Prior experience in a warehouse shipping and receiving role is preferred.
    • SKILLS: Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided if necessary). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and processing shipments. Good organizational and multitasking skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
    • ABILITIES: THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA, NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street. Ability to lift and move heavy items up 50-75 pounds and perform physical tasks as required. Must be authorized to work in the United States, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen.
