    We are currently looking for a Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Clerk in the Houston area.

    The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the receiving, processing, and shipping of goods and materials. This includes tasks such as receiving deliveries, inspecting goods, verifying paperwork, packing and shipping goods, and maintaining inventory records. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received
    • Calculates totals, weights & volumes
    • Notify management of shortage or other problems that could impact product availability
    • Services the Shipping/Receiving window
    • Post data into inventory system
    • Answer phones
    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Must be able to read, write, interpret, and complete required Shipping/Receiving documentation
    • Ability to accurately perform required mathematical calculations typically required for S/R
    • Detail oriented
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Microsoft Windows: Word and Excel
    • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Works well with a team
    • Pipe experience a plus
    • Bi-lingual – Spanish a plus
