Job Summary

We are seeking EXPERIENCED WELDERS

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics

Plan layout and measurements of structural components

Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job

Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools

Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment

Qualifications

Previous shipboard Welding experience

Professional Certification (NAV SEA welding certificate) is preferred

Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools

Knowlege of Navy welding standards and proceedures

Understanding of all health and safety guidelines, (respirator, ventilation etc.)

Attention to detail
