The Shop Parts Runner & Laborer position is responsible for picking up parts and delivering them to the correct location and/or shop and assist with organization and inventory of parts storage. Responsibilities include being self-motivated and able to perform each essential duty to the satisfaction of the assigned supervisor. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Responsibilities: • Pick up, deliver, stock parts for appropriate locations/technicians • Maintain organized record of parts invoices for payment record • Assist service department by moving vehicles in need of or completed for service • Package and ship or personally deliver parts to job site areas as needed • Comply with all company safety programs and procedures • Maintain a clean shop (sweep, take out trash, separate scrap, clean oil spills) • Assist technicians as needed, ie, light maintenance, greasing, etc. • Working knowledge of hand tools • Sort and organize shop parts • Assist in Wash Bay or detailing equipment and trucks as needed • Assist in snow removal/salt during winter • Perform other related duties as required and assigned Qualifications: • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred • Construction Knowledge and experience preferred • Ability to commute to various locations, including out-of-state and occasional out-of-state deliveries requiring overnight stay Compensation: $16 - $20 hourly
