Job Description
Our mission, at Shopify Fulfillment Network (SFN), is to transform the $8-12T fragmented and outdated logistics industry, and build an intelligent, asset-lite network that enables any online seller to offer fast, affordable fulfillment.
We are making 1-day shipping a possibility for our merchants by building a network of sortation centers designed to inject packages into the network of our carrier partners. With daily increasing shipping volumes we have high expectations for 2023 and a need to scale our operations. It’s a huge challenge, which is why we are looking for someone with a passion for managing remote partners, identifying process failings, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing and driving improvements. We’re democratizing fulfillment for our merchants and that's why we want to bring on a Learning Specialist.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Partner with Product, UX, Operations and Support teams and work with vendors, partners and agencies to execute on our team OKRs
Responsible for the execution of day-to-day, week to week learning performance in the Newnan warehouse
Build and deliver training to diverse audiences in our fulfillment network
Act as a subject matter expert for all process training in the warehouse (e.g. PIT, Outbound, Inbound)
Operationalize the partner education strategy and execution and ongoing management of a training and education strategy that enables our partners to effectively work within Shopify standards and support continuous improvement efforts
Design, lead, and implement learning projects in the warehouse and ensure deployment of best practices across the entire network
Promote a culture of creativity and passion for providing exceptional customer experience
Work with the team to develop written and video content that will be delivered in various mediums and platforms - email, LMS, and more
Serve as a point of escalation for warehouse partners to mitigate learning risks and resolve issues
Build shared KPIs to drive improvements
Work with advocates and learners to continuously improve our education program
Work closely with internal teams to align on priorities, collaborate on training and education initiatives, and communicate the long-term plan and ongoing progress
Qualifications
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Demonstrated track record in building an education content, strategy and influencing buy-in in a fast paced environment
Experience working in logistics, fulfillment and/or warehouse operations
Previous experience in developing online learning, training or enablement programs for customers

Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, and presentation). We are looking for a specialist who can guide the team to write and produce engaging, learner led content and lessons
Hands-on leader that embeds themselves in processes to learn and grow their knowledge
Creative leader who has worked to develop written and video content for education purposes
Willing and able to commute (main work location is Newnan, GA)
