    High-end remodeling company searching for a Showroom Manager & Design Assistant. You’ll be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing the receiving of customer orders, and general office/showroom management. Applicants should be extremely thorough, possess excellent communication skills, and have some background in sales and customer service. Examples of good candidates: Candidates need to be organized and able to manage multiple projects at a time. Experience in construction and design is a big plus. • Showroom salesperson interested in kitchen and bath design with strong administrative skills • Junior designer looking to gain experience and eventually get promoted to designer • Office administrator for a construction company with a strong interest in kitchen and bath design Soft Skills for this role: This role often requires task switching between long-term tasks and immediate ones like answering the phone or greeting a client when they walk in the door. • Good communication skills • High-level organization skills • Active listener who can adapt to different communication styles • Detail-oriented and timely with deliverables, Good follow through, and follow-up • A thirst for continuous improvement & learning Hard Skills for this role: This role requires expertise and demonstrable skills in design and construction. • Excel / Google Sheets • CRM software • Knowledge of NKBA design standards • Knowledge of basic construction techniques Compensation: We provide very competitive salaries with significant year-end bonus opportunities. Responsibilities: • Facilitate communication between our customers and team to ensure customer satisfaction • Coordinate any company parties, necessary appointments, or travel • Increase productivity by creating record-keeping procedures for customer data filing systems • Buy materials for the office when necessary • Receiving and management of customer orders • Assist designers with ordering, job folders, and other admin tasks Qualifications: • Customer service experience in our industry is preferred • Navigates computer programs with ease to provide a quick front-desk experience for customers • Enjoys talking with customers and can communicate through verbal and written channels • Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work Compensation: $52,000 - $55,000 yearly
