  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Responsible for the development and execution of design concepts for annual reports, branding, sustainability and digital communications – including websites, microsites, tablets and apps.

    SKILLS AND CRITERIA

    • Excellent communicator and collaborator
    • Adept at managing multiple projects at once and to work efficiently
    • Flexibility and the ability to take individual initiative and self-manage
    • Working knowledge of typography and a comprehensive knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Sketch

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support senior team members in compiling and preparing materials for the design brief
    • Develop design concepts that meet the communication objectives presented in the design brief
    • Attend and participate in creative reviews
    • Assist senior team members in the selection of final creative solutions that are presented to the client
    • Accept creative input, continuing to refine and adjust design concepts to meet the agreed communication objectives
    • Work with the team to develop and refine design concepts prepared by another designer on the team
    • Refine concepts based on client feedback
    • Prepare materials for client presentations
    • Maintain proper job archive files at the completion of jobs
    • Keep accurate timesheets on a daily basis
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BFA or equivalent in a design related profession
    • Two-four years of practical, on the job experience
    • Proven ability to meet deadlines

    Additional Information

    CALIFORNIA COMPENSATION INFORMATION

    California compensation for this opportunity ranges between $83,000 and $126,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.

    HYBRID WORKPLACE GUIDELINES

    Sia Partners maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
