    The Sign Design Engineer will be responsible for creating innovative and functional sign designs that meet client specifications and regulatory standards. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive signage solutions that enhance brand visibility and accessibility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Design and develop signage concepts, including wayfinding systems, architectural signs, and digital displays.

    Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed drawings and specifications for sign production.

    Conduct site surveys to assess environmental factors and determine optimal sign placement.

    Collaborate with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project goals and deadlines.

    Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to signage and accessibility.

    Provide technical support during the fabrication and installation processes, addressing any design-related issues.

    Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.

    Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback into revisions as necessary.

    Maintain accurate documentation of design processes and project specifications.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.

    Proven experience in sign design or a related industry, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.

    Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite).

    Strong understanding of signage regulations, including ADA compliance and zoning laws.

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in project management or client-facing roles.

    Knowledge of materials and production processes used in sign fabrication.

    Familiarity with 3D modeling software and rendering techniques.
