    Job Summary

    The Sign Maker/installer is a professional, self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence. The Sign Maker is also detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced team environment, and is able to efficiently manage multiple projects. The job holder will work with another person with the same responsibilities, the Design team, and the company owner. Some projects will require working independently, while others will require working with the other Builder/Installer and/or the company owner. The Sign Maker/Installer is self-confident and is not afraid to show their professional ability, creative genius, and most importantly, have fun!

    Responsibilities

    Sign production and installation

    Full-time availability (40 hours/week)

    Consult/interface with Designers and customers

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area

    Assist in maintaining company signage equipment

    Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs

    Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional

    Qualifications

    5+ years of experience as a professional sign maker – design and production

    Background in vinyl creation and application

    Large format digital printing

    Design creativity

    Expertise in using Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) a plus

    Experience with RIP software

    Vehicle wrap installation a plus

    Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.) a plus

    Ability to handle larger size materials or equipment of heavier weight (50+ lbs.);

    Skilled in handling power and hand tools and equipment, know basic painting techniques;

    Likes doing fine detailed production and assembly bench work, likes the outdoors;

    Comfortable learning and using specialty shop machinery and equipment;

    Comfortable making basic electrical wiring connections;

    Demonstrates team attitude while able and willing to teach and learn from others:

    Have a Valid NJ Driver’s License:

    Vehicle and Insurance and ability to get to work ON TIME.
