Sign Production Professional Location: Oakdale, MN

Impression Signs and Graphics, a fast-growing commercial sign company, is seeking an experienced Sign Production Professional to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and execute a world-class sign production workflow while prioritizing client success—a cornerstone of our growth.

Minimum Qualifications: • Experience: 5+ years in the sign industry, including vinyl application, wide-format digital printing, and graphic design. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of color management concepts. • Communication: Strong oral and written communication abilities. • Customer Focus: A proven dedication to exceptional customer service. • Process Improvement: Enthusiasm for streamlining and enhancing workflows.

Preferred Qualifications (Not required but a plus!): • Experience with vehicle graphics and wraps. • Familiarity with Onyx RIP and ShopVOX software. • Background in sign installation.

Key Responsibilities • Design & Production: Apply design theory, typography, and color theory to sign production. Vinyl graphics production including cutting, weeding and finishing. • Consultation: Interpret client requirements and recommend appropriate media and production methods. • Project Management: Balance multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality results. • Technical Execution: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and Onyx RIP tools to design and manipulate digital graphics, manage resolution and enlargements, and ensure optimal output. • Quality Assurance: Proofread and inspect jobs for accuracy, maintaining responsibility for on-time production. • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the care of computers, printers, cutters, and laminators. • Inventory Management: Monitor materials to minimize waste and maintain stock levels. • Installation: Perform signage and vinyl graphics installation as needed.
