Position Summary:
The Sign Sales and Project Manager is responsible for driving sales of signs and visual communication products for our company, as well as managing the successful delivery of projects. This role will be a combination of a commission-based salesperson and a salaried project manager, with approximately 60% of the responsibilities focused on sales and approximately 40% focused on project management. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, project management, a strong understanding of visual communication products, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
· Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales of signs and visual communication products.
· Identify new sales opportunities and work to close deals.
· Negotiate contracts and approved pricing with clients.
· Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and new products or services.
Project Management:
· Oversee the successful delivery of projects, from planning to execution and completion.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and installation teams.
· Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
· Communicate project status updates to clients and stakeholders.
· Identify and manage project risks and issues.
· Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
· Demonstrated competency in sales development and project delivery, preferably in the sign or visual communication industry.
· Strong sales skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
· Knowledge of visual communication products and the ability to consult with customers on signage solutions.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and follow up skills.
· Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
This is a full-time salaried position with commission. The Sign Sales and Project Manager will report to the Owner and will be located at our facility in Indianapolis. Due to the nature of this position, remote work is not possible.
