The interpreter shall provide Sign Language Interpreting Services from American Sign Language (ASL) to English and English to ASL.

Activities will include interpretation for deaf and hard-of-hearing employees in various settings

Interpreter services may range from simple to complex and may be sensitive in nature.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Fluent in American Sign Language and English.

Ability to use Signed English and Manually Coded English is preferred.

Must be able to interpret/transliterate fluently and understand the continuum of sign communication.

Must be able to proficiently voice to sign as well as sign to voice.

Must possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and written
