Position Title: Advisor Development Consultant
Reports to: Partner

Classification: Full-time / Exempt
Summary / Job Objective: The objective of this position is to serve as the primary point of contact for supporting advanced planning life insurance sales.
Essential Job Functions: The ADC works closely with the Sales Vice Presidents and our clients to consult on cases, design solutions, create marketing material, deliver presentations, provide training, and offer updates on insurance products, tax, and regulatory changes specific to the industry. The ADC acts as a consultant and liaison to the sales force and a business partner to our clients, by providing answers to specific questions.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Communicate planning strategies using life insurance and other financial planning concepts to the SVP’s and our clients over the phone, via webinar, and in person, to promote the sale of life, disability, LTC and annuity insurance products
· Create and maintain relationships with life insurance carriers
· Consult on cases and provide technical expertise on strategies that further life insurance sales
· Work with operations to enable the use of life insurance in advanced planning strategies
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, preferred
· 7+ of experience in business, estate, and wealth transfer planning
· State Insurance Licenses
· FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses preferred
· One or more of the following: CFP, CLU, ChFC, CPA certifications preferred
· In-depth knowledge of in the use and taxation of annuities, life insurance, disability and Long Term Care.
Core Competencies:
· Advanced Marketing experience, with knowledge of carriers and products
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Drive
· Written, and verbal communication skills
· Relationship building and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work autonomously in a collegial environment, and be customer focused
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation (based on experience)
· Base salary: $65,000 - $75,000 / year
· This is an Exempt position
