    Position Title: Single Mom’s Ministry Coordinator Campus: Central Support

    Reports To: Central Women Director Status: PT-Exempt

    Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing education and family support to single mothers in order to achieve Central’s goal of meeting the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of single moms and their children where dignity is preserved, hope is restored and families thrive. This ministry requires working directly with Pastors, Ministry Directors, and Community Partners to ensure key deliverables are completed. The Coordinator will coordinate a project/program within the scope of the Single Mom’s ministry from initiation to completion. This individual must fit within our collaborative culture and be a silo-buster.

    Responsibilities:

    Design, plan and manage the execution of all programs, per the mission and goals of the Single Mom’s Ministry.

    Ensure training to staff and community leaders on ministry implementation.

    Collaborate with the external engagement team to identify and develop partnerships and relationships with local churches, various community agencies, and other constituents with access to the single-mom population in need.

    Grow single mom support groups where education, training, and community are fostered.

    Plan and coordinate events/programs that address the intellectual, emotional, developmental, cultural, social, and physical needs of the single mom and her children.

    Work with Central’s Marketing team to ensure the development and implementation of marketing strategies, including email blasts, newsletters, social media posts, etc.

    Determine what events (trainings, groups, classes, etc.) should be held and act as event coordinator during planning and implementation.

    Actively recruit volunteer teams to support ministry activities.

    Track project/program performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.

    Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.

    Build a strong relationship with the Central staff and volunteers.

    Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk sit; use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
