Position Overview:

Sir Grout Tacoma, a veteran-owned franchise, is seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead and oversee our operations, setting the tone for growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Tacoma location, upholding our values, and fostering a culture of innovation and quality.

• Competitive annual salary ($75,000 base + bonus, OTE $150,000), commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Tacoma operations, guiding the team towards achieving business goals and maintaining exceptional service standards.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies for expansion, growth, and customer engagement.

• Oversee sales and production management, ensuring seamless coordination between departments to deliver exceptional results

• Develop and execute operational plans, including budget management, resource allocation, and project execution.

• Cultivate relationships with clients, trade partners, and community organizations, representing Sir Grout Tacoma's values and commitment to excellence.

• Uphold a strong commitment to safety, ethical standards, and sustainable practices in all operations.

• Drive sales growth and promote business development, identifying opportunities to enhance market presence and revenue streams.

• Regularly communicate with the CEO, providing updates, reports, and insights on the Tacoma operations.

-Other responsibilities as directed.

Desired Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in construction, flooring, janitorial, or a related field.

• Proven track record of success in sales leadership, production management, and employee development.

• Thorough knowledge of construction project management, budgeting, and cost estimation.

• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building strong client relationships.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower a diverse team.

• Experience in hiring, recruiting, and talent development.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Visionary mindset with the ability to drive innovation and strategic growth.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and often exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift, or otherwise move objects.

• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis.

• While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).

• Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside in a variety of weather conditions.
