    Job Description:

    iKids U - Austin is growing like crazy! We are seeking Site Directors to lead the iKids U after school program, onsite at CENTRAL & NORTH WEST elementary schools. Our engaging STEAM, Recreational, and Academic enrichment, child care, and tutoring program is highly valued by principals, teachers, parents and especially our iKids.     Schedule and Pay:

    Work schedule is 30-32 hours per week This is a year-round position supporting the elementary school calendar and iKids Summer Camp.

    Based on supervisorial and group childcare/or class teaching experience, the hourly pay range is $19 – 22.00 per hour.

    Duties:

    Your well-balanced day includes administrative, instructional, and creative activities with elementary students!

    Implement, develop, and regulate the iKids program at one school site.

    Teach Curriculum using our tested and engaging iKids U lesson plans that are filled with fun and educational activities.

    As an community member on your campus, you may attend school events and fairs.

    On-going professional development and training keeps your record-keeping running smoothly.

    Maintain child safety in a fun, well-managed environment.

    With your 1-5 iKids Instructors you keep the facility clear and organized.

    Your team works both inside a standard classroom and outside during playground time.

    You record incidents and behaviors in a timely manner.

    Review curriculum, organize materials, and prepare supplies for daily activities.

    Not only is the iKids U curriculum time-tested and proven, we have the best craft room on earth!

    You may pick-up, carry, and unload items weighing 10 –20 lbs. and up to 30 lbs.

    Cultivate positive relationships with families and your community.

    Start the day by reviewing parent communications, releasing e-newsletters, and updating staff.

    You are positive, cooperative, and energetic as you meet school administrators and Texas Licensing personnel.

    iKids strives for a 1:15 ratio, helping you keep the program significant and personable.

    You excel at classroom management while actively guiding activities, snack and recreation time.

    At student pick up, you connect with parents and share updates from the day.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 6 months working in a Licensed Child Care program or group teaching experience is required.

    College degree preferred, or college classes in relative field required.

    Must be at least 21 years of age.

    Clear fingerprinting background results is required.

    Reliable, independent transportation is required.

    Leadership experience required.
